So what if that’s what’s happened when you find random Pokeballs lying in the grass. They only have the item that the Pokemon was last holding inside them.
; ; !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
YOU FOUND A LUNAR FEATHER!
GO SIT IN THE CORNER AND THINK ABOUT WHAT YOU DID!
omfg this is quite possibly the saddest fucking thing ever i just can’t i don’t even believe it
We will be together for all of your lifetimes.
And we will never give up.
That’s really amazing that Raava is keeping watching over avatars, especially Aang, who spent 100 years in iceberg.
Crazyintheeast, thanks for the idea c:
Avatar parallels [1/2]
Breaking the Ice
Every Avatar before you traveled the world to learn.
Based on the examples shown in ATLA, Avatar Aang and Avatar Roku got to travel around the world to master the 3 elements (aside from their native element) while Korra was stuck in her own compound in the Southern Water Tribe, only to try train Airbending in Republic City, which was her only taste of freedom. This would explain why she had trouble with her spiritual side.
Roku found out he was the Avatar when he turned 16.
Aang found out he was the Avatar when he was 12 (War reasons)
Korra found out she was the Avatar around 5 years old and had the White Lotus kept her safe in the Southern Water Tribe to master the elements, Aang may have feared that the next Avatar would not be safe and cause another genocide, and then there was Tonraq who wanted to protect her all the time. She had her own compound where she is trapped, sometimes isn’t allowed to take Naga out for a stroll, and the White Lotus keeping a constant watch on her; This would explain her sheltered life, rebellious attitude, and her surprise when she has an opportunity to make decisions for herself. Because she has always been told what to do.
Maybe Aang also wanted Korra to know her true identity as the Avatar in a young age so that she wouldn’t be shocked and confused. The sad thing is, being the Avatar is the only thing that makes her feel great, she’s not like Aang who is hesitant to admit he’s the Avatar, she acknowledges it. I’m sure Aang and Roku experienced being “normal” and they know that there is more to life than being the Avatar. But for Korra, she knew she was the Avatar from the very start, that is why she has built her identity and life to being the Avatar and nothing else.
It would explain why she was so mad at Tonraq, she had no freedom to choose where to go since she was a child. (not to mention the secrets he had kept for so many years)
I’m so glad that they’re addressing her sheltered life this season! I hope she’ll have the chance to grow and find her own path as the Avatar as each Avatar has their own journeys.
